In the 2008-2009 School Year A-Company made its mark on the Corps of Cadets and Aggie Band in numerous ways, represented by awards.

Fightin' Texas Aggie Band Awards:

Best Band Outfit (for the second year in a row, and a familiar award in A-Co)

Best Band Grades

Best Band Recruiting

Corps Of Cadet Awards:

First in Commendant Inspections

4th ranked outfit in Corps Physical Training

Top 15 outfits in Scholastic Recognition

2nd Place for the Hockmith Award (community service)

3rd Place for the General Moore Award (overall best outfit in the Corps)

Among this A-Company Cadets are also involved in inner-corps groups such as the Ross Volunteers (a silent honorable military service group), Recruiting Companies, Parson's Mounted Calvery, O.R. Simpson Society (academic based society), and the various off the quad student organizations.
