About Us

A-Company is one of the "infantry" bands that, along with the "artillery" bands, comprise the famous Fightin' Texas Aggie Band. Because A-Company is a part of the band there is no specific ROTC affiliation with the outfit, and A-company is instead made up of all the ROTCs (Army, Air Force, and Navy/Marine). The oufit usually has "contract cadets" (cadets who intend to pursue a military career after college) from all the ROTCs as well as "D&C cadets" (Drill and Ceremonies, cadets who do not intend on joining the military". Along with the mixture of ROTCs, A-Company has cadets with a variety of majors (ranging from engineers to agriculture to liberal arts).

Above all A-Company's main goal is to produce high quality cadets within a professional enviroment who excell in military proficiency and academics and to instill within them integrity, A-Company pride and the hallmark of an Aggie Bandsmen: diginity, self-discipline, and enduring pride.
